This application was created to enable children to develop the logical and mathematical knowledge necessary for all kinds of learning.
THE LOGIMATH FAMILY aims to promote the development of their intelligence via educational play activities that are based on real life situations and close to the children’s experience.
The Application is original in the sense that it doesn’t use either oral or written language: the instructions have been designed so that the child understands intuitively what is required.
A DEMONSTRATION OR EXAMPLE SHOWS HOW TO GO ABOUT IT, MAKING IT REACHABLE TO ALL CHILDREN FROM 3 YEARS UP.
In each universe, the activities are presented as “problem situations” that need to be solved.
The games are presented in a logical sequence that will enable the child to act out a story with the LOGIMATH family!
The fundamental concepts that a child uses in their daily life - space, time, logic, number, counting, calculation - are represented by images.
The child uses in a fun and enjoyable way the skills of deduction, logic, spatial orientation…
In the kitchen universe, the activities have been planned to allow the child to participate in preparing a picnic: sorting the shopping (logic), food preparation (number, counting), putting away the basket (geometric shapes), and travelling to the picnic site (space-time).
In the farm universe, the child can try out other concepts by using deduction and logic skills: making connections, identifying differences or discrepancies, as well as trying out concepts such as “number-quantity”, recognising figures, etc.
The photo album recounts key moments in the story of the Logimath family. It enables the child to choose between the two stories offered: “On the way to the picnic” or “A visit to the farm”.
Initially, the photo of each universe is in colour and the inactive suggested activities are in black and white, with arrows indicating a logical order to follow to develop the story.
Once the child “clicks” on the photo of the chosen universe, an enlarged version of this appears on the screen.
The activities that the child can choose are presented via a decorative feature surrounded by a white border.
When an exercise is finished, the child’s success is marked by an on-screen animation.
The photo of the activity then appears in colour in the album and the exercise can then be played again by clicking on it.

All the activities work in the same way.
Each game begins with a demonstration by a “guiding hand” which shows the child what he needs to do.
For each new topic, the level of difficulty increases.
Each success is rewarded by an on-screen animation.
A mistake is never penalised; a sequence of progressions will help the child to solve the problem on his own.
After a few seconds of inactivity, a demonstration can even be replayed to ensure that the child understands the objective of the exercise.
Before a child can play, he must create his profile or find an existing profile. The profile allows the child to feel invested, but its main aim is to safeguard his progress.
